Needle tips are thin needles designed to be clipped onto the ends of Plastiform LL nozzles. They work with very fluid products only. These needle tips offer enhanced precision for applying Plastiform products in hard-to-reach areas, narrow cavities, and complex geometries.
There are 3 sizes of needles, but custom sizes can be requested on demand. Regular sizes are 38mm, 100mm, and 200mm.
Needle tips are specifically made to clip securely onto the LL nozzles. It is not possible to clip these needles to any other nozzle, so be aware when you order them.
Like the LL nozzles, needle tips cannot be cleaned or reused once the Plastiform product has cured inside. The polymerization process permanently hardens the material within the needle’s narrow channel, making removal impossible.
Needle tips are sold separately from LL nozzles and cartridges, allowing you to select the appropriate size for each specific application.
Before attaching the needle tip, ensure your work surface has been properly cleaned with DN1 degreaser and that you have prepared your 50ml cartridge with an LL nozzle securely attached.
Pick the needle size of your liking and clip it onto the end of the LL Nozzle. Be sure it doesn’t move; you should be able to pull on it without it coming off easily.
Once done, be sure the product goes through it. Remember: only very fluid products can be used with these needles, so don’t use products within the Pasty range.
Once your application is finished, throw the needle into regular waste.
Looking for a complete kit to try plastiform?
The case contains all required accessories to use Plastiform. It is the best way to try our solutions for the first time!
The nozzle should be attached at the end of the cartridge, ensures that the two components of the plastiform mix homogeneously before application. It is a consumable item and must be replaced after each use. The tip, which is fitted at the end of the nozzle, reduces the flow rate. This is particularly recommended for fluid plastiforms to achieve optimal application accuracy, especially in fine details. The tip is reusable and can be cut to increase the flow if needed.
How can I clean the mixers after the mixing is complete?
After the mixing is complete, absorb any remaining product with paper and clean the mixer using white gas.
How to clean the injection material after taking the impression ?
You don't need to clean the material. The nozzle is going to trash and the tip is reusable after extracting the polymerized material inside it.
In case of accidental dispersion, how should the area be cleaned and which product should be used?
Water or cleaning products should be used in case of accidental dispersion. Ensure that the products do not enter groundwater, waterways, or pipelines in undiluted form or in large quantities.
What’s the difference between manual, pneumatic and battery application guns?
Manual guns are simple and portable but can cause hand fatigue. Pneumatic guns provide consistent application and reduce fatigue, while battery guns offer portability and ease of use without manual effort.
