Needle Injectors are standard injectors for 50ml cartridges, equipped with a needle at the end to inject fluid products into very small parts.
They are small plastic and metal parts designed to mix two-component Plastiform cartridges. The injector ensures a perfect 1:1 ratio, making the output completely homogeneous.
Needle Nozzles are used only with certain fluid products (F20, F30 Visual, F50, and F85). Although they can be attached to all our cartridges, the fluidity of the product is crucial.
Their size allows them to reach the inside of parts easily, and their 0.89mm diameter enables infiltration into very narrow spaces, making them ideal for inspecting very small parts.
We recommend starting the injection only when you are fully prepared to perform all your checks. When the product enters the injector, it mixes and begins to polymerize within a few minutes.
Once the products have polymerized inside an injector or its needle, it is no longer reusable and must be discarded.
Needle injectors cannot be combined with white or yellow tips.
Before applying a plastiform, you must clean the application surface with DN1 degreaser.
The nozzle is attached to the end of the cartridge after you remove the cap. Simply push the nozzle and turn it to the left to lock it in place.
Once the nozzle is mounted on the cartridge, you can attach the assembly to the dispensing gun and start your application.
Tips cannot be used on the needle nozzles.
Looking for a complete kit to try plastiform?
The case contains all required accessories to use Plastiform. It is the best way to try our solutions for the first time!
The nozzle should be attached at the end of the cartridge, ensures that the two components of the plastiform mix homogeneously before application. It is a consumable item and must be replaced after each use. The tip, which is fitted at the end of the nozzle, reduces the flow rate. This is particularly recommended for fluid plastiforms to achieve optimal application accuracy, especially in fine details. The tip is reusable and can be cut to increase the flow if needed.
What’s a good application for Fill’Ins ?
Fill'in s are a good match when you need to create a total impression of an internal shape with a diameter of less than 5mm. As a general rule, if you are using a Needle Injector, you might have a Fill'In application.
Are Plastiform products compatible with all types of metal alloys?
We always recommend carrying out a preliminary test to confirm that your alloy will not adhere to the product, as we have observed several cases of incompatibility with very specific alloys, although this is very rare.
Are Plastiform products sensitive to UV light?
No, our products are not sensitive to them in the short or medium term in their traditional use.
Can anyone use Plastiform products?
Yes, anyone can use Plastiform products as long as they follow the instructions provided with each product. While no specific training is required, we strongly recommend adhering closely to the guidance in the technical documents. If you have any doubts, a series of explanatory videos is available to help clarify your questions. If these do not resolve your concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Can an underwater impression be taken?
Impressioning can work without problems underwater, and more generally in any environment without oxygen.
