The ProMixR is a dispensing machine that automatically mixes the F04 Protect components, making the protection of your gauges, cutting tools, etc., smooth and easy.
It comes with a pedal switch and a front-panel button, allowing the operator to dispense the product with ease and use either one or two hands.
This product is a complete replacement for wax-based protection of gauges, cutting tools, or any other fragile parts that need systematic protection between uses.
It provides complete protection against shocks, scratches, and vibrations, and absorbs grease and pollutants, allowing the object to be cleaned. This two-in-one application makes it a very fast and effective way to protect your tools.
It is also completely clean and safe to use: no danger to operators and no special installation (such as an extractor hood) or safety equipment is required.
It is compatible with the Standard Nozzles of the Plastiform range and can also be used with some Plastiform products upon special request.
This product should be used with the F04 Protect for gauge protection, as it is specifically developed for this application.
This product is used in conjunction with the F04 Protect to safeguard gauges, cutting tools, or any other fragile elements that need protection when not in use.
To use it, you need Standard Nozzles and the two components of F04 Protect:
At the back of the machine, there are two connectors: A & B.
Plug the A component of F04 Protect (White label bottle) into the A connector.
Plug the B component of F04 Protect (Black label bottle) into the B connector.
Once done, attach a nozzle to the front of the machine, just below the front-panel button.
Plug in the outlet of the machine, and it is now ready to work.
Press either the front-panel button or the pedal switch to start dispensing the product.
You can either pour the product into one of the small cups provided with the F04 Protect or directly onto the element you want to protect.
The product will harden in less than 30 seconds. Ensure it covers the entire area to be protected, then set the part aside.
Repeat the operation for every part you need to protect.
Be careful, the product may harden inside the nozzle. If this happens, you will need to change the nozzle.

Are Plastiform products compatible with all types of metal alloys?
We always recommend carrying out a preliminary test to confirm that your alloy will not adhere to the product, as we have observed several cases of incompatibility with very specific alloys, although this is very rare.
At what temperature does the final impression begin to be altered?
Although plastiforms have been developed for use and measurement in metrological laboratories (20°C), they are not sensitive to changes in ambient temperature. However, above 120°C, the dimensions of the impression will be altered.
Can an underwater impression be taken?
Impressioning can work without problems underwater, and more generally in any environment without oxygen.
Can anyone use Plastiform products?
Yes, anyone can use Plastiform products as long as they follow the instructions provided with each product. While no specific training is required, we strongly recommend adhering closely to the guidance in the technical documents. What are nozzles and tips used for?
The nozzle should be attached at the end of the cartridge, ensures that the two components of the plastiform mix homogeneously before application. It is a consumable item and must be replaced after each use. The tip, which is fitted at the end of the nozzle, reduces the flow rate. This is particularly recommended for fluid plastiforms to achieve optimal application accuracy, especially in fine details. The tip is reusable and can be cut to increase the flow if needed.
