Nozzles are small plastic parts designed for mixing two-component Plastiform in cartridges. They ensure a perfect 1:1 ratio mix, resulting in a homogeneous product at the outlet.
The nozzle fits every 50ml cartridges, and its length (8.2cm) allows you to easily reach the end of the cavities to be controlled.
We recommend starting the injection only when you are fully ready to perform your controls.
Once the product is mixed inside, it begins to cure and will polymerize within a few minutes. After polymerization, the nozzle is no longer reusable and must be discarded.
Standard nozzles are designed to fit tips at their ends.
While their use is not mandatory, we recommend using them to control the output flow more effectively.
Nozzles are essential accessories for applying plastiform from cartridges. You can find standard nozzles in cartridge boxes or in individual bags with their tips.
The nozzle is attached to the end of the cartridge after you remove the cap. Simply push the nozzle and turn it to the right to lock it in place.
Once the nozzle is mounted on the cartridge, you can attach the assembly to the dispensing gun and start your application.
Before applying a plastiform, you must clean the application surface with DN1 degreaser.
To install a tip on a standard nozzle, clip it to the nozzle’s outlet. The nozzle and tip are specially designed to fit together. Be sure to mount the tip on the nozzle before attaching the injector to a cartridge.
Looking for a complete kit to try plastiform?
The case contains all required accessories to use Plastiform. It is the best way to try our solutions for the first time!
Impressioning can work without problems underwater, and more generally in any environment without oxygen.
Can anyone use Plastiform products?
Yes, anyone can use Plastiform products as long as they follow the instructions provided with each product. While no specific training is required, we strongly recommend adhering closely to the guidance in the technical documents. If you have any doubts, a series of explanatory videos is available to help clarify your questions. If these do not resolve your concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Can Plastiform products be glued? Do they stick together?
To glue products together no additional substances are required. simply pour one product over the other, either before or after polymerization, to merge them into a single unit.
How to clean the injection material after taking the impression ?
You don't need to clean the material. The nozzle is going to trash and the tip is reusable after extracting the polymerized material inside it.
How to correctly extract a Plastiform impression?
Plastiforms are highly precise, ensuring that once cured, they maintain perfect contact with the walls of the part, almost as if they are glued. To extract an impression: have a firm grip to pull energetically along the axis of the impression—twisting or unscrewing should be avoided. For this, it is essential to use demolding rings.
How to ensure that the products are properly mixed at the outlet of the mixing injector? Or during manual mixing?
At the end of the injector, or after manual mixing, the product must be well mixed to ensure uniform polymerization. If the mixture appears marbled, indicating that it is not homogeneous, set aside the non-homogeneous part until the mixture is correct. Once the mixture is homogeneous, you can proceed with the impression.
