F85 XL

Description

The F85 XL, is a very fluid plastiform that becomes after its polymerization rigid. This means, among other things, that it cannot be distorted.
It hardened to a final stiffness of 85 Shore A, which allows it to stiffen or protect parts during machining process.

It is also a product used for dimensional inspection. Its rigidity will allow you to measure the replica using three-dimensional measuring machines.
The F85 XL leaves no residue behind.

Thanks to an extended polymerization time (25 minutes), the F85 XL allows you to create large volume impressions for a variety of applications.

It is especially recommended for stiffening workpieces before machining.

Applications

We recommend using the F85 XL to:

  Part reinforcement before machining.

You can also use it to:

If you take an impression or reinforcement with the F85 XL, be sure to follow the instructions in the instructions provided with the products. Mixing the two-component with your hands requires special attention to the quantities mixed and the length of the mixture. Be careful to pour the F85 XL slightly. The product must flow over the entire surface to be replicated or reinforced. Be careful not to create air bubbles.
Finally, the final impression cannot be cut with the double blade cutter.

These recommendations also apply to all other two-component plastiform fluids in high volume.

The impression being semi-rigid, it can be controlled with an optical machine of the type or with a contact measuring machine:
